ARCA Menards Series East

Stock Cars

The ARCA Menards Series is a stock car racing series in the United States, serving as a stepping stone to NASCAR. Founded in 1953 as the Midwest Association for Race Cars (MARCA), it was later renamed the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). The series is known for its mix of veteran drivers and up-and-coming talent, competing on a variety of tracks, including superspeedways, short tracks, road courses, and dirt tracks. NASCAR acquired ARCA in 2018, further solidifying its role in driver development. The series has helped launch the careers of stars like Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and Chase Briscoe. The Menards home improvement chain has been the title sponsor since 2019.

ASA STARS National Tour

ASA STARS National Tour

Super Late Model

Since the demise of the ASA National Tour in the early 2000’s, racers, fans, manufacturers, promoters and sports marketers have talked about the return of a national tour for pavement super late model racing. Regional tours, including the CRA Super Series, Southern Super Series and ARCA Midwest Tour have worked hard to fill the void, but industry insiders knew there was something missing. Enter Track Enterprises. Track Enterprises is an event marketing company which promotes auto races around America. The man that is responsible for this is Bob Sargent. In January of 2022, Track Enterprises announced the acquisition of the Champion Racing Association, including the ARCA / CRA Super Series, JEGS All-Stars Tour plus Late Model Sportsman and Street Stock Tours. In June, the company also reached an agreement to acquire the ARCA Midwest Tour, effective January 1, 2023. Finally, in September, Track Enterprises revealed it had reached a partnership with the Southern Super Series to operate the series under the CRA banner as of January, 2023. Sargent's vision behind this strategy for Track Enterprises – to stabilize and enhance the regional tours and organize a series of national events for pavement super late model racing.

Bracket Grand Prix

Bracket Grand Prix

Road Racing

WTC specializes in organizing oval and road course events for production-based race vehicles, using a unique handicap system to level the playing field. The Bracket GP, introduced at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in 2018, eliminates traditional classes, allowing teams to “run what you brung.” Using transponder scoring, cars are placed into track-specific speed brackets, with each bracket determining a head start per hour. Faster cars compete in Bracket Z, while slower cars in Bracket X receive a +1 lap per hour advantage, ensuring close competition throughout the race. With safety requirements similar to Chump Car and Lemons, Bracket GP allows amateur racers to strategically choose their bracket, giving all teams a fair shot at victory. This innovative approach to road racing has proven to be more effective than traditional methods used by major series.

CARS Late Model Stock Tour

CARS Late Model Stock Tour

Late Model Stock

Formed in the fall of 2014 by owner Jack McNelly, the CARS Tour was built out of the remnants of the former Pro Cup Series. The CARS sanctioning body, continuing a desire to create a viable option for quality pavement racing throughout the Carolinas and beyond, formed the dual division CARS Tour. Featuring both super late models and late model stock cars competing on the same night at the same track, the CARS Tour is the first series of its kind to host two premier divisions under the same banner, at the same track and as part of the same event. Born in the Carolinas, Late Model Stock Cars have been the premier car raced at local and regional tracks in the Mid-Atlantic for decades. Today, the purpose-built racers weigh in around 3100 lbs. and utilize both factory-designed crate and custom-built racing engines. The power plants produce over 400 horsepower underneath a fiberglass body built to withstand the rigors of short track racing without the weight of stock body panels. The machines stop by using the same stock-style GM brake calipers found on many passenger cars today. These race cars carry a huge following of both fans and drivers alike.

The primary difference between the Super Late Models and Pro Late Models is the crate engine utilized by the latter. The Pro Late Model Tour follows similar rules to the CRA Series, Southern Super Series and those used by Montgomery Motor Speedway.

Legend Cars

The Legends compete at the following tracks: BAPS Motor Speedway, Big Diamond Speedway Linda's Speedway Lincoln Speedway Path Valley Speedway Park and Trail-way Speedway. History of the Legend It was in April of 1992 that the first Legends Car was unveiled at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The concept of creating a fun and affordable "spec" class of racing for anyone to participate in was born. Legend Cars are 5/8-scale fiberglass full-fendered versions of the famed NASCAR modifieds driven by legendary drivers such as Fireball Roberts, Buck Baker, Curtis Turner, Speedy Thompson and Banjo Matthews. Since that time, the Legends Cars have become one of the fastest growing segments of motorsports today. With drivers being classified into four different divisions, Legends Cars is THE racing opportunity that is available to anyone! The Pro Division is for the experienced drivers. The Masters Division features drivers 40 years and older. The Semi-Pro Division is the novice class, featuring the drivers that are new to the sport or have been inactive in other forms of racing for a while. Then there is the Young Lions Division which is designated for the drivers between the ages of 12 and 16. Since the car stays the same from division to division, it is the driver that makes the difference!
