Chateau Speedway, located in Lansing, Minnesota, is a 1/3-mile semi-banked clay oval with a rich history dating back to its opening in 1956 along the Cedar River. Known for its “gumbo” racing surface, the track has crowned over 150 champions throughout its decades of grassroots competition. Today, Chateau hosts a full slate of classes including USRA B-Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and Outlaw Mini Mods, while also honoring its history through an on-site Hall of Fame. It was also the first track in Minnesota to partner with the High School Racing Association, providing opportunities for youth drivers to compete in a safe, structured environment. Blending legacy with innovation, Chateau Speedway remains a cornerstone of the Minnesota dirt racing scene.
