ELKO! your source for affordable family fun since 1965. Featuring action packed Eve of Destruction® events guaranteed to thrill, door to door NASCAR racing on a 3/8 mile asphalt oval track, and a Drive-In movie theater. ELKO! is your home for a Saturday night full of entertainment.The Cars: Elko Speedway has three divisions that race under the NASCAR Banner. The Late Models are highly modified with fabricated frames and fiberglass or aluminum bodies with specialized power plants. Thunder Cars are stock cars with minor engine and suspension modifications allowed. Power Stocks are a low-cost entry level division that are nearly straight from the factory. Other common divisions that also compete at Elko Speedway include the Great North Legends and Bandoleros.
Everything you need to know
Elko no longer has track cars available for rental, but if you want the experience of driving on the track you can enter spectator drags on Eve of Destruction nights, (how to enter can be found below).
You must show up before 5pm and sign all the necessary waivers and purchase a $40 pit pass online or $45 pit pass on site which will allow you access to the pits, this pass acts as your ticket to the track as well. (Helmets mandatory, must supply own helmet)
There is NO-SMOKING in/on Red Main Grandstands or Family Section, Smoking is permitted in designated areas, patrons may be asked to move to a designated smoking area if disrupting others.
Sorry but we do NOT allow camping on-site. If you have a an RV or Camper trailer you are welcome to park, tailgate, and stay for the races or entertainment but you are not allowed to stay overnight. (PLEASE NOTE: Parking is first come first serve)
