BLG SHOWDOWN PARTNERS WITH KART PASS APP FOR 2021
THE BLG SHOWDOWN WILL UTILIZE THE KART PASS APP TO OFFER ADVANCE REGISTRATION AND PIT PASS SALES FOR ROUNDS 1-4
STAR, ID (Feb. 15, 2021) – To streamline the registration and sign-in process for teams and attendees of the BLG Showdown at High Desert Station, the BLG Showdown will utilize Kart Pass’ technology to help get Showdown participants registered and into the event quickly and efficiently. The BLG Showdown will kick off with Rounds 1 and 2 on Feb. 20-21 and Rounds 3 and 4 are scheduled for Feb. 26-27.
“The BLG Showdown came together in a matter of weeks, but it’s been a long time coming here in southern Idaho,” said Joe Ransom, promoter of the BLG Showdown. “We’ve partnered with the Kart Pass app to help streamline registration. It’s 2021 – we’re officially in the future, so why wait in line at a registration booth when you can handle it in the comfort of your own home? Load the Kart Pass app, register and display the QR code at the track to receive your wristband, apparel, etc. It’s that easy!”
Kart Pass powered by Pit Pay provides its users – racers, crew members and other attendees – with a simple, hassle-free experience in the app and at the track. Kart Pass customers can quickly and easily register for the event, purchase pit passes, and e-sign waivers in advance using the app, providing a contactless experience.
Once they arrive at the track, users will proceed directly to the dedicated Kart Pass check-in window, present the mobile pit pass on their device and receive their armband or credential, saving valuable time standing in line, signing waivers and exchanging cash or cards. The Kart Pass app safely and securely stores credit card information and users’ favorite tracks and series to make purchasing a pit pass – or pit passes for their whole team – as simple as a few clicks on their mobile devices.
